How to Use the Ceiling Tile Calculator

To work out how many suspended ceiling tiles you’ll need, simply enter your room’s length and width in metres. Then select your tile size — either 600 x 600mm or 1200 x 600mm — and click “Calculate Tiles”.

Our calculator uses your room area to determine how many tiles are needed: it divides the total by 0.36 for 600×600 tiles, or 0.72 for 1200×600 tiles. You can also choose to add 10% extra for cuts and wastage. No manual math required!
